{"id":64,"date":"2004-11-26T16:52:47","date_gmt":"2004-11-27T00:52:47","guid":{"rendered":"\/?p=64"},"modified":"2009-12-05T03:54:54","modified_gmt":"2009-12-05T11:54:54","slug":"performance-evaluations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.slimjimmy.com\/weblog\/archives\/2004\/11\/26\/performance-evaluations\/","title":{"rendered":"Performance evaluations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I got my performance evaluation a few weeks ago.<\/p>\n<p>VMware&#8217;s employee rating system has the following choices:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Exceptional<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding<\/li>\n<li>Great<\/li>\n<li>Needs Improvement<\/li>\n<li>Unsatisfactory<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Supposedly I&#8217;m doing &#8220;great&#8221;, but I&#8217;m not sure if that means I&#8217;m actually doing great or if that means I don&#8217;t need improvement.  The lack of a &#8220;mediocre&#8221;\/&#8220;adequate&#8221;\/&#8220;satisfactory&#8221; rating throws things off.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I got my performance evaluation a few weeks ago.
